My husband, Chuck, is our pALS. He is 47. He was diagnosed in April 2018. We have four children, two daughters that are 24 & 22 and two sons that are 17 & 16. Chuck was self-employed as a paint contractor and was a very active guy. He rode dirt bikes, snowboarded, wake boarded, ride bikes, etc. He worked hard and played hard. ALS has taken all that from him and it’s devastating to say the least and even harder to witness. ALS awareness is something our family and friends strive to spread.
