My dad lived with ALS while I was 5-12 years old and passed away in 2006.
I work in Democratic politics but I rarely share my story. My dad lived with ALS while I was 5-12 years old and passed away in 2006. ALS is a horrible, traumatic disease that ruins many lives. Congress must do more to help the state of health care in this country and give those with ALS a fighting chance at a dignified life and hope for a cure.
