In memory of Ted Beriau Jr

someone we've lost to ALS

Massachusetts

From the day of his diagnosis he said “we can do this together, it’s ok."

My husband Ted was diagnosed 12/21/2010 at the age of 57. From the day of his diagnosis he said “we can do this together, it’s ok.”

He never complained when he had to sell his business, and his 55 Buick Special, when he was unable to walk, use his arms, talk or eat. He only focused on what he COULD do.

He built his own ramp, played on a wheelchair curling team with with and against Paralympians, and was inducted into his HS Hall of Fame and received the Koppka Award for courage character and perseverance. His main main focus was always his family and making memories.

On 11/22/16 we lost our rock, our hero and the love of my life. ALS did not win, Ted did because he is now in Heaven and free of ALS.
