I am Tara Gottlieb

a family member of someone we've lost to ALS

Massachusetts

My dad was a huge Yankees fan and during his entire illness, the Yankees games got him through every day.

My father, David Gottlieb, was diagnosed with ALS May 3, 2021. He passed away 6 months later, on November 4, 2021. My mom, brother and I were his caregivers.

My dad was a huge Yankees fan and during his entire illness, the Yankees games got him through every day. It was the only thing he could enjoy. He looked forward to watching the games every day. I’m grateful that he had that to enjoy.

I now work for The ALS Association of MA as Manager of Community Engagements & Events. I cannot wait for the game this Thursday to honor my father and all who have been affected by ALS.

Thank you!
