I am Robert Sprecher

a family member of someone we've lost to ALS,
someone who cared for a person we've lost to ALS

Maryland

I lost this beautiful caring person, the love of my life, April 1, 2019 after a 15 month battle with this horrible disease.

My wife of 53 years is an ALS victim. I lost this beautiful caring person, the love of my life, April 1, 2019 after a 15 month battle with this horrible disease.

So soon we forget it is also German heritage month. She and I are both of proud German descent. Quite a lot of this country was colonized by Germans seeking religious freedom. Now we need a renewed passion to eradicate ALS. I don’t see any movements pubic or private advocating for a larger effort to stamp out ALS.

Please if you are able press your politicians to advocate for more research and give to support research.
