I am Micki Kay

a family member of someone we've lost to ALS

Minnesota

They were married knowing full well the ALS was progressing.

My son, David Adam Kronick, passed away from ALS May 10, 2022 after a valiant fight for 4 years. He was 54 years old and married to Gabby for almost 3 years.

They were married knowing full well the ALS was progressing. He could not speak..He had Bulgars Palsy at their wedding.

As a boy, David was very athletic, playing Little League and high school baseball as a catcher. This position resulted in two hip replacements in his 40’s. However, he loved the game.

David took his Grandma Bea and I to a Twins game on Mother’s Day when Bea was in her 90’s. She caught a foul ball and it was posted on the big screen and in the Star and Tribune newspaper the next day. We have the ball here since Bea passed at 102.

– Micki Herman Kay, David’s grateful Momma
