I am Meredith Lindgren

a family member of someone we've lost to ALS

Illinois

His motto was, “I can wake up everyday and make that day the worst day of my life, or I can make it the best day of my life. I choose to make each day the best day of my life.”

My husband, Bruce, was diagnosed with ALS in September 2013. He lived with ALS for about six years before his death in March 2019. Watching him deteriorate was horrible for our family and close friends. But I will always remember his positive attitude in spite of his affliction. His motto was, “I can wake up everyday and make that day the worst day of my life, or I can make it the best day of my life. I choose to make each day the best day of my life.” Rest In Peace, my love. ♥️
