I am Margaret Plews-Ogan

a family member of someone living with ALS,
caring for someone living with ALS

Virginia

Our family has always lived life with purpose, wanting to make the world a little bit better.

My husband Jim and I have been married for 44 years. We met in college and have been soul mates ever since. He was diagnosed with ALS in December 2021. We have two amazing children, now amazing adults!

Our family has always lived life with purpose, wanting to make the world a little bit better. Now, as our son said, we are “turbo-charged” to bring that energy and purpose to ending ALS!

As doctors we hope to apply our background knowledge to help close care gaps for people living with ALS, to advocate for accelerated access to new therapies, and to push for more rapid development of treatments. TOGETHER LET’S END ALS!!
