My heart hurts but looking at her beautiful artwork is a beautiful gift that I have from her, forever.

December 16, 2022 my beautiful mother was diagnosed with ALS at the age of 71. My mother was an amazing quilter, teaching herself how to sew and quilt. She made over 100 quilts and several have not been finished due to this awful diagnosis. Two days before her 71st birthday, on April 20th, 2023 my mother passed away. My heart hurts but looking at her beautiful artwork is a beautiful gift that I have from her, forever.
