I still am in a state of shock over, numb, lost without them.

I am the daughter of Wayne and Joan Holcomb of Yadkinville, North Carolina. I lost both my parents to ALS. In 2007 my father passed away, in 2018 my mother lost her life too.

We all lived on a farm in rural Yadkin County. There is no history of ALS in our family other than my parents becoming victims.

It is mind-boggling. I still am in a state of shock over, numb, lost without them. I miss them terribly and try to jump back to memories of them prior to their diagnosis and illness.
