I am Kathleen Freis

a family member of someone we've lost to ALS

Connecticut

Dad fought bravely and humbly through his last day. No doubt his lifelong spirit of giving would support this ALS fight for the benefit of others.

ALS took my Dad, an army Vet, at the age of 76, the day after my parent’s 52 wedding anniversary. He was lucky to have lived a good, fairly long life. He was devoted to my mom, unconditionally loved and was a significant influence on his three children, five grandchildren and many friends and mentees. Discovering his diagnosis was baffling as it was an arduous a process of elimination. Dad fought bravely and humbly through his last day. No doubt his lifelong spirit of giving would support this ALS fight for the benefit of others.
