I am Kate Frost Fink

a family member in a familial ALS family,
a family member of someone we've lost to ALS,
living with ALS

Texas

I have seen ALS take members of my family away from C9orf72 related ALS/FTD. I refuse to let the disease take who I am away.

I was diagnosed with ALS in Oct. 2019 and am living with it. I’m in my late 40’s blessed with a husband, two daughters, a son in law and granddaughter. I have seen ALS take members of my family away from C9orf72 related ALS/FTD. I refuse to let the disease take who I am away. It’s just a part of me like my brown eyes and curly hair. We all will die, so it’s time to live and enjoy life.
