In memory of John Jackson

someone we've lost to ALS

Arizona

He didn't get symptoms of ALS until the last ten years of his life. The last 3 years were the hardest.

My father was a veteran. Served in the Vietnam War, Marine Corp. He didn’t get symptoms of ALS until the last ten years of his life. The last 3 years were the hardest. Watching my father being fully functional and then him not being able to move his arms or legs and forgetting who I was due to dementia was the hardest thing I’ve ever been through. Rest easy dad. Miss you and love you more everyday.
