In memory of Jeff Sarnacki

someone we've lost to ALS

Maryland

Upon his ALS diagnosis, he decided that we were going to LIVE, and live we did.

Jeff Sarnacki was one-of-a-kind, a gift. He was a beloved father, son, brother and friend, and my incredible husband. He was the strongest person I ever met, and taught me more about life than anyone I’ve ever known. Upon his ALS diagnosis, he decided that we were going to LIVE, and live we did.

In the 19 months from the time he was diagnosed until he died peacefully at home in my arms, we celebrated each day with the priorities of love, adventure, peace and perspective. Along with family and friends, we traveled, boated, fished, watched sunsets, hung out with dogs and laughed. He faced ALS with courage and bravery, and in doing so he inspired his us to do the same. He’s still the brightest star in my sky.
