I am Jasson Ray

living with ALS

Oregon

The main reason I keep going is my family.

My name is Jasson. I have ALS. The main reason I keep going is my family. This is very hard and the disease has taken away my ability to be a husband and father. I can’t financially support my family any longer. I can’t play with my kids like I used to. My life is consumed with my disease and I have questions like “Why me?” … It’s so hard on my family. My disease is getting to where I can’t walk, talk or breathe on my own. And I can’t swallow or eat. It’s very debilitating. There are so many companies doing research to find a cure.
