I am Eric Maman

living with ALS

California

I connected with each of my boys in a special way through baseball, because in those moments on the field, we were kids together.

One of the greatest joys of fatherhood has been coaching my three sons in little league baseball. Baseball is a unique sport. Through hours of time spent on the diamond, or even just throwing the ball in the backyard, baseball enhances the bond between parent and child. I connected with each of my boys in a special way through baseball, because in those moments on the field, we were kids together. Father and son, yes, but both living a dream of wearing a team jersey and playing a kid’s game. Baseball is like an heirloom – it’s passed down from generation to generation, carrying beauty and fantasy with it.
