In memory of Emerson Frith

someone we've lost to ALS

Illinois

My strong, athletic, perfectly healthy, soulmate and husband of 32 years.

My strong, athletic, perfectly healthy, soulmate and husband of 32 years started having weakness in his right hand the end of October 2019. Emerson was diagnosed with ALS on 2/21/2020, went into home hospice care on 6/4/2020 and passed away on 8/14/2020 surrounded by loved ones, lots of lights and music. His battle was very short. Our first great-granddaughter was born on March 16, she was named in memory of the hero of our family. Emerson would have loved to meet Emersyn Elizabeth, but ALS took that and so many other life events away from him in the most brutal way, ALS. I’m not sure our family will ever recover from the loss and continued trauma we endure and watched Emerson endure a battle he never had a chance to win. Find a cure or at the very least treatment.
