I am Don Manley

a family member of someone we've lost to ALS

Tennessee

A man who loved life and was so active as a businessman, family man, golfer, and gardener.

On November 10, 2019 I lost my brother Ron to ALS. A man who loved life and was so active as a businessman, family man, golfer, and gardener. His battle lasted 4 1/2 years and was so terrible to watch.

My aim was to find a way to show respect for him, plus raise funds to help fight ALS. As a result, I have been building redwood bluebird houses and feeders, with all monies going to an ALS organization. Most sales come through a July 4th celebration in a small town just north of Knoxville, TN. That community allows non-profit organizations to set up booths and sell products and crafts for their groups. Other sales come through word of mouth and friends.

I have now decided to use future funds to support I AM ALS. We must find a cure.
