I am Deb Keeler

living with ALS

Ohio

My family and I are still in shock. It's all been very overwhelming, but my husband and I have a great support group.

In July 2020 I started having issues with my speech and was constantly stuffy. I thought I had allergies or some sort of sinus issue.

Spent time at ENT and did several tests and no closer to an answer. At a follow-up visit at the ENT, she noticed that my tongue was fluttering. On March 4, 2021 I was diagnosed with ALS.

My family and I are still in shock. It’s all been very overwhelming, but my husband and I have a great support group. I am going to live life to the fullest!
