I am Beth Fuller

an ALS advocate with no connection to ALS

Indiana

In addition, as a mom of a son with an autoimmune disease, I have experienced how meaningful it is when someone volunteers their time, efforts, and resources to help support an organization or cause that does not directly impact them, but is near and dear to you because it impacts someone you care deeply about.

I do not currently have any family or close friends in my life living with or caring for someone with ALS. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, I feel it is important to support organizations helping individuals and their families that may experience communication challenges, which is what led me to learning about I AM ALS.  In addition, as a mom of a son with an autoimmune disease, I have experienced how meaningful it is when someone volunteers their time, efforts, and resources to help support an organization or cause that does not directly impact them, but is near and dear to you because it impacts someone you care deeply about.  The truth is that everyone should care. I feel lucky to be welcomed into such a close-knit and caring group on the Thank You Squad.
