I am Barbara Clarich

a family member of someone we've lost to ALS,
living with ALS,
someone who cared for a person we've lost to ALS

Ohio

As time went by he couldn't walk, talk, eat or drink but he never lost his spirit.

We were together for 32 years when at the end of 2017, my loving husband Ken Clarich was diagnosed with the disease that would change the lives of our entire family forever. He was great about it … meaning that he wanted to do as much as he could for the unknown amount of time he had left.

We did A LOT and had the best time of our lives. Even after being in a scooter and then a wheelchair we were still getting out about twice a week until COVID. As time went by he couldn’t walk, talk, eat or drink but he never lost his spirit. He lost his battle with this beast on 10/9/2020. I will love and miss him forever.
