I am Ashleigh Howland

a family member of someone we've lost to ALS

Ohio

We promised to continue fighting for him and all pALS and that’s just what we plan to do!

Hi my name is Ashleigh. I am the oldest daughter of three, to Terence “Terry” Wilkin, who sadly passed away at the young age of 56, on Sept. 30, 2020 after a 10 month battle against ALS. He was diagnosed in Dec. 9, 2019.

He is a USMC Veteran, serving 2 terms. He was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant. He continued on to be an LEO for many years after. He spent his life serving and protecting his country, loved ones and friends. He had a heart of gold, the best humor and the biggest smile that would light up the darkest room!

His 3 daughters were his entire world, and his 6 grand babies were his LIFE! Though he had a rough fight, the one thing he always had was such high hope for a cure in his time.

We promised to continue fighting for him and all pALS and that’s just what we plan to do!

We will give them a voice, make the world hear them and see them!!! ALS has changed my life, my sisters lives and our children’s lives.

We are hurt and pissed off and ready to put all fists in and take this MONSTER DOWN!!
