I am Anthony Rosello

a family member of someone we've lost to ALS

Pennsylvania

We watched every game we could together between July and September and I’m forever indebted to the Phillies for sharing those last moments with him bonding over something we both loved.

My father was diagnosed with ALS on March 15th, 2020 after a fall. He passed away on the saddest day of my life on October 10th, 2020. There were things my dad loved watching on the TV where you could get an expression from his emotionless body, one of which being the Phillies. We watched every game we could together between July and September and I’m forever indebted to the Phillies for sharing those last moments with him bonding over something we both loved. He played baseball growing up and that’s the reason I did too. I’ve partnered with the Reading Phillies to put on multiple ALS fundraising events for the upcoming 2021 season after sharing my Dad’s story and love for them and the game. What a great game it is.
