Southern California Virtual Walk to Defeat ALS – Now and Ongoing

The Walk to Defeat ALS is an opportunity to bring hope to people impacted by ALS, to raise funds for treatments and cures, and to come together in support of the ALS community.

Since we can’t gather in person, we are working on ways to bring the Walk to you! With our shared “Never Give Up” spirit, the Walk communities in LA, the Inland Empire, and Ventura-Santa Barbara, will come together online for a unique event on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1 in support of our mission, now and throughout this unexpected, challenging time.

November 1 SoCal Walk Day Programming

9:30 AM PDT – Pre-event concert featuring Melanie Vammen (The Pandoras, The Muffs, The Coolies), Palmyra Delran (The Coolies), Hillary Burton (honeychain, The Muffs, The Coolies), and more!! (on Zoom)

10:30 AM PDT – Join us at the “Start Line”! (on Zoom)

We are bringing the start line festivities to you! You’ll hear from inspirational speakers, a warm-up courtesy of Saul Choza (Choza Winsor Pilates), and performances from the USC Marching Band!

11:00 am and throughout the day – Participate, YOUR WAY!

With this year’s event going virtual, you can participate however YOU want! If allowable, go for a walk, run or hike, or stay at home and connect with your teammates– It’s your chance to get creative and HAVE FUN!

*Pre-registered event participants will receive a Zoom registration link that will allow them to be active participants in the Walk Day festivities. Make sure to register TODAY at walks.alsagoldenwest.org!
