Join us on Monday, April 14th at 7pm ET for an important discussion with staff from the ALS clinic at Georgetown University about ALS clinical trial participation. We will explore both challenges and positive experiences from the perspective of people living with ALS (pALS) and their caregivers.
Objectives:
- Understand key challenges faced by pALS and caregivers in clinical trials.
- Identify positive experiences and motivational factors for participation.
- Gather insights to improve future ALS clinical trials and support structures.
Who Should Attend?
- People living with ALS (pALS)
- Caregivers of pALS
- Clinical trial coordinators & researchers (optional participation)
Session Topics:
- Pain Points: Accessibility, scheduling, communication, financial burden, and emotional impact.
- High Points: Support systems, positive experiences, motivation, and community-building.
- Prioritization Activity: Participants will rank challenges and benefits to highlight the most impactful areas.
