Libraries are a community gathering spot that provides resources and information. Last year, I AM ALS volunteers across the country recruited 36 libraries to raise awareness of ALS and educate people about Lou Gehrig. As we slide into 2025, the team is ready to re-engage previous libraries and add a few more to the movement. Join us for this webinar to learn more about how you can help create change by getting involved in the 2025 Lou Gehrig Day/ALS Awareness Library campaign.
The Lou Gehrig Day/ALS Awareness Library campaign encourages libraries nationwide to host events, book displays, and educational programming in honor of Lou Gehrig Day (June 2), while raising awareness about ALS and Lou Gehrig’s legacy. The focus will be on engaging communities, educating the public, and supporting those affected by ALS.
By getting involved, you will help raise awareness for ALS and bring attention to the critical need for research and advocacy.
Together, we can help amplify voices and create lasting impact for those affected by ALS.
