I AM ALS is excited to announce a call for nominations for the 2025 Annual ALS Community Awards! These awards recognize people for their incredible leadership and contributions to furthering the movement to end ALS. Each award is named in honor of an amazing individual who we have lost to ALS.
Please use the form on the right to tell us who you would like to nominate for one or more awards and why! Nominations will be collected through March 31st, and will be reviewed by a Selection Committee. The Selection Committee will include community members and I AM ALS staff, and they will make final decisions on each award recipient that will be announced in May.
2025 Awards Include:
- James Plews-Ogan Outstanding Advocate Award
- It goes without saying that we think ALL of our advocates are outstanding, but this award will honor an advocate who goes above and beyond for the movement.
- Mary Ann Abeska Spirit Award
- Do you know someone who embodies authenticity, strength and a positive outlook? Nominate them for the Spirit Award!
- Scott Davis Amplify Awareness Award
- Do you know someone who works tirelessly to raise awareness of ALS and the movement to end it? Nominate them for the Amplify Awareness Award.
- Scott Jones Outstanding Peer Mentor Award
- Mentors provide unwavering support and guidance to other people impacted by ALS, and help by offering them a sense of community and reducing loneliness. Nominate an incredible mentor you know for the Outstanding Peer Mentor Award.
