I am Selena Castro

I lost my father to ALS in October 2019. Being his caregiver was and will be the most important and life-changing event of my life. My dad was my best friend. Like all ALS patients, he did not deserve to suffer through what this disease does to the human body and spirit. I am grateful for and cherish the time I spent with him, and the smiles he still gave me toward the end. But I’ll never stop wishing he were still here with me. There needs to be a cure.
