I am Michael Peebles

living with ALS

New York

We are hoping that I have years before it moves farther, but I am so thankful for my wife and my family caregivers. Realize that their life changes too when you can’t hug your wife, hug your kids, or hug your grandchildren.

My name is Michael Peebles. I am suffering from a rare form of ALS; right now it is mainly affecting my arms.

We are hoping that I have years before it moves farther, but I am so thankful for my wife and my family caregivers. Realize that their life changes too when you can’t hug your wife, hug your kids, or hug your grandchildren.

Life has completely changed in the last two years, but I will fight every day for every breath.
