Now I am a single mom of 3 crazy fatherless boys all because ALS took the person I loved most in this world.
I am a 33-year-old widow of ALS with 3 boys, 6, 4 and 2. My husband died of ALS last May. He was diagnosed on Oct. 15 and died on May 1st.
The day his Medicaid finally kicked it. 🙄 It is difficult to care for an ALS spouse and small children. My son was 7 months old when my husband, Tyson was diagnosed. On top of that, we weren’t able to get in-home help because we had to wait 6 months.
It didn’t matter cause all he got was 6 months anyways. Now I am a single mom of 3 crazy fatherless boys all because ALS took the person I loved most in this world. It is hard to go anywhere feeling completely outnumbered and overwhelming all alone.
