For the third year since my diagnosis in 2018, I am participating in the Snohomish Ride to Defeat ALS.

This year I will be riding with a baseball theme in hopes of tying in ALS awareness with the Lou Gehrig Day in MLB. This can be a great opportunity for raising awareness and some much-needed funds. Each ride includes some playing catch with my riding partners and those pictures are posted on Facebook.

Hopefully, Covid restrictions will ease up by June 2 allowing many of the ALS community in the Pacific Northwest to attend. In the days after the game, I will be doing a final ride on the Iron Horse Trail which ascends to Snoqualmie Pass in honor of Lou Gehrig who was nicknamed the Iron Horse for his consecutive playing streak of 2,130 games.
