My dad and I had a special bond; baseball.
It’s hard for me to fit my dad’s story in 100 words, but I did my best to summarize our story.
My dad was his own person. He loved to cook, he loved music, and he really loved his kids. But my dad and I had a special bond; baseball. He taught me how to play catch, he would pitch to me, we would go watch our local minor league team, the Burlington Bees, together quite frequently. My dad and I had a special connection to the game. I can’t even describe what it meant to me to have him in the stands when I would play.
