I am Paula

someone we've lost to ALS

Iowa

During her illness, she kept her positive attitude and had a kind and gentle spirit. She was thoughtful, compassionate, uplifting and gracious with integrity and dignity throughout her life.

In the spring of 2018, my sister Paula was diagnosed with ALS. During her illness, she kept her positive attitude and had a kind and gentle spirit. She was thoughtful, compassionate, uplifting and gracious with integrity and dignity throughout her life. Although she described herself as an ALS warrior (fighting every day) she lost her battle on January 10, 2021.

We are left with the love she shared & many wonderful memories. We will miss her beautiful smile, her strength, and her ability to give everyone she met a special place in her heart. She was truly the best of us. Today we celebrate her on what would have been her 57th birthday. Happy heavenly birthday Paula. We loved you and miss you everyday!
