In memory of Marylou Toye

someone we've lost to ALS

She maintained a positive spirit and attitude for the 8 years she survived with it.

My mom, Marylou, never let this disease get the best of her. She’s been gone for 5 years now and I still miss her every minute of every day. Now as a mother myself I could really use her advice and wisdom but unfortunately heaven doesn’t have a phone. She maintained a positive spirit and attitude for the 8 years she survived with it. While I’m grateful she didn’t go through the worst stages of ALS, I’m saddened that she had to go like that.
