I have a real fear of ALS being passed down to me through genes but I'm staying positive.

My mother was the first family member in our family to ever be diagnosed with ALS when I was 11 years old. She passed away when I was 12. I cherish the many memories I have of family vacations including a trip to Colorado and a family cruise.
