I am Lisa Silverthorne

a family member of someone we've lost to ALS,
someone who cared for a person we've lost to ALS

Canada

I promised her is that I will continue in supporting and helping where I can in supporting the ALS community.

I played baseball all through childhood and coached as well. To be successful at it you need a good team, equipment, a place, support from others, strength, sponsors and skill, passion and determination. A lot of these skills I learned playing and coaching through my youth.

What is needed in the ALS community is much the same: a good team, equipment, a place, support from others, strength, and skill, funding, strength, skill, passion, and determination. I lost my aunt suddenly to ALS a few months ago. She was only 67. She didn’t even have a fighting chance. I promised her is that I will continue in supporting and helping where I can in supporting the ALS community, those suffering with ALS and fundraising to find a cure for this awful disease. #endALS
