In memory of James Henderson

someone we've lost to ALS

Texas

He was a builder, a technician, and a teacher. A loving husband and father.

James was diagnosed with ALS just as the Covid pandemic began in 2020. We knew something was different two years prior but couldn’t get any answers. We chalked it up to getting older, working too hard, any number of things.

James loved the outdoors, being on the water and playing with his grandchildren. He was a builder, a technician, and a teacher. A loving husband and father. As ALS robbed him of his body, he would spend time reading and talking to old friends on the phone. He faithfully attended the zoom meetings with his group at I Am ALS. He was always active at church and insisted on going even when it was incredibly hard.

He is missed, so terribly missed by all who knew him but especially by his family.
