I am Gina Sparrow

living with ALS

South Carolina

I truly live my life to the fullest every day.

I’ve always been a baseball lover. I was told in December 2019 that I have ALS. The first words I said to my husband in front of the doctor was we are going to spring training 2020 … well before our nation closed down we were able to attend 14 games and 1 hockey game.

I still cry about it. It was amazing! I am a slow progression ALS person. I can walk a little but haven’t had use of my hands for years. I truly live my life to the fullest every day. In fact, today we bought tickets for June 2 @Atlanta. I really wanted to be there for Lou and all others that can’t go.

Thanks for all you do to keep ALS in the spotlight.
