I am Elizabeth Them

living with ALS

Ohio

I fight and hold out hope that someday soon being diagnosed doesn’t mean you will eventually lose the things you love doing.

I was always active. I played college basketball and enjoyed doing stuff, whether it be hiking, skiing, boating or walking my dogs. ALS steals that away … I fight and hold out hope that someday soon being diagnosed doesn’t mean you will eventually lose the things you love doing. Eventually we can say, “ALS, you’re gone!”
