This disease is very unforgiving. The hardest part is watching a very independent person with a perfectly good mind lose all use of her body and have to become totally dependent on others.

This picture is of my strong, beautiful mother. She loved working in her beautiful backyard that she developed through years of hard work. She loved the Lord and dedicated her garden to Him. She loved to share her garden with others, welcoming all who wish to find sanctuary there. Many pictures were taken in her backyard, i.e., prom, wedding, senior, family, etc. In 2017, she began to struggle with breathing while working in her yard. She also started to stumble more while working. She began seeing doctors in February of 2018, thinking it was her heart, her lungs, or just being overweight. It was October of 2018, before anyone told us definitively what was happening to this once very active, hardworking woman. We lost her in November of 2019. She went down quickly. This disease is very unforgiving. The hardest part is watching a very independent person with a perfectly good mind lose all use of her body and have to become totally dependent on others. She fought to the very end, though, and made sure everyone she met during this time knew her love for the Lord. Her name was Mary Tucker. She was loved by so many.
