In memory of Chester Sawicki

someone we've lost to ALS

Massachusetts

He worked demolition for 35 years and anyone that worked with him would tell you he was the strongest man on the job.

No one knew the city of Boston better than my dad. He knew every building inside and out because he’d been in every building inside and out. He worked demolition for 35 years and anyone that worked with him would tell you he was the strongest man on the job. He worked a few jobs at Fenway Park and even donated pieces of the original backstop he salvaged from a job in 1987 to the Jimmy Fund for auction.

He was a die-hard Sox fan and when he cheered for them it rattled the whole house.
